If the highest result of education is to be human, then DAV Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad can proudly claim that it not only trains the mind but the hearts too. A night camp was held in the premises of school on 8th and 9th February,2008 under the theme ‘ Moral Values’. The programme started by remembering the almighty God. Yagya was conducted and performed by the students of class V. A wonderful magic show was presented by Mr.Tejinder Singh’s Babbar. After enjoying the stay at night the next day journey started with refreshing yoga classes. To add fun to the occasion, the students were taken to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and a Church. To enhance the creativity of the students a photo frame making workshop was also conducted by Mrs. Jaya. A colorful and vibrant programme was presented by eth students in the evening. The brigade of dignitaries to grace the occasion were Regional Directo – Mr. K. L. Khurana, Principal of A. D. Public School- Mr. Suresh Chandra, Mr. Chatrath etc. A floral welcome was accorded to the Guest of honour. The programme commenced with a welcome song. To inculcate moral,  cultural and traditional values in the students, a series of skits like respect for elders, love for animals, save – water, sharing and caring, changing values ….. appeal to parents were presented. The students mesmerized the audience with their scintillating and heart touching performances. The long awaited moment came when the DAV Prop Champ competition was held. Sammer and Rahul stole the heart of audience with their wonderful performances to the beat of ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ and bagged first prize. The whole event was very well organized and managed by the enthusiastic team of Mrs. Bhatt and primary staff. Principal Neelam Gandhi along with the guests gave away the prizes. Sakshi Gupta bagged the nest scholar award. Garima Sharma got the All Rounder Award. Mr. Khurana enlightened the people by saying a few words of wisdom. He shaved his immense pleasure to see the performance of students. He congratulated the Principal and presented a bouquet to her for her zeal and enthusiasm. Everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest but also tried to bring a smile on the faces of the underprivileged kids by donating money. Principal presented mementoes to guests and Supervisor Sadhna Bhatt for her dedication and exemplary services. The ceremony came to its culmination with a vote of thanks proposed by the Principal Neelam Gandhi.
